Interconnected Network is the abbreviation of the Internet.
The abbreviation itself tells that the millions of networks and computers are interconnected together which comprises a large number of organizations, industries, web pages, communications, etc.
Where does the Internet be from?
Most of our people will answer the internet is from satellites which are floating in the space. But the truth is that the internet we are using is really from the cables which we used to interconnect computers and networks together.
Where do the cables are located if the networks are interconnected between the two countries?
The cables are submerged inside the sea which normally contains lots of fiber cables linked together and gets submersed to interconnect the networks and computers between two countries.
Thus each fiber cable can have the ability to transfer the data speed of 100GB/s.The length of cables which are interconnected each other between all the countries nearer to 1.25 million km.
OK fine that now I've understood clearly that the internet is not from the satellite it must be in cables Then now you have another question like Is the internet really costs??
How do we receive the Internet wirelessly if cables were used to provide internet services?
Here it is divided into three stages
- Tier 1- which connects the cables between other countries in India tata plays a major role in Tier 1 process.
- Tier 2 - In this process, the company connects the cable from the tier 1 and connects to the sates f the country
- Tier 3 - This process is mostly handled by the ISP(internet service provider ) which may be of anything like airtel, jio, Vodafone, BSNL These companies connects the cables from tier 2 and individually connect to their networks and provides services to the public. From the network provider, we can connect the internet in our smartphones wirelessly.
So, In this way only we can able to receive internet wirelessly without any cables.
Why does the internet speed is fluctuating or the difference in internet speed for each user?
Let us consider there is a network tower which has the internet speed of 100mb/s.
- When two people connect to the same network tower, each people receives 50mb/s speed.
- When ten people connect to the same network each people receives the 10mb/s speed.
This what the reason why the internet speed varies to each people when they connected to the same network.
Is the internet really costs??
No, truth is the internet does not cost it is fully free for all and no one can control the internet. So, the internet is free then why the ISP charging for using internet service? it is because to maintain those cables which are interconnected with each other regularly and to monitor those cables. This is why the internet service provider is charging for using the internet.
How does the server opens to us when we request to open?
let us consider you are requesting google.com whenever you click the server internet tries to reach the server where the server is actually located in the US means internet travels through the shorter way to load the server for us. Every server has a unique IP address when you request the server internet try to find the server using the IP address. If your requested server is located in your country means the internet loads the server as fast as it can. If your requested server is located outside the country you are in eans internet loads the server little bit slower than the above. If your internet speed is faster it always loads the server faster for you.
